As your new Executive Career Coach, I will serve as your job search buddy, leveraging my experience as both a recruiter and hiring manager to give you an insider’s perspective. I know what makes a strong application stand out, and I can help you avoid common pitfalls that often trip up otherwise promising candidates. I've seen firsthand how great candidates can get invited to interviews for jobs that were never publicly posted. My goal is to improve your chances of being that candidate who consistently gets headhunted by recruiters, whose emails get responses, who identifies hidden opportunities, and who presents strongly throughout the recruitment process.

Then, we’ll conduct a SWOT analysis to highlight your strengths and growth opportunities. This session will give us a clear sense of the areas where you need more support.

Part 2: Pitching Yourself to Recruiters and Hiring Managers

Duration: 30-45 minutes

Many talented professionals struggle to present and sell themselves convincingly. The key themes to overcoming this issue are preparation, iteration, and feedback. Every interaction with a prospective employer builds your image. I will guide you in presenting yourself as top-tier talent from your first email to your interview invitation by helping you:

Revamp your Resume/CV and LinkedIn profile
Build and refine scripts for cover letters and cold emails
Develop a portfolio, if relevant for your role

Part 3: Identifying Your Ideal Employer

"Who Is My Ideal Employer and Hiring Manager?"

With a clear understanding of your desired roles and prospective employers, I will compile a list of at least 10 companies. Whether or not they are publicly hiring for your desired roles, I will help you scan various job boards for more opportunities that fit your profile. The end deliverable will be a proprietary spreadsheet tailored for you, listing companies, open roles (if any), LinkedIn profiles, email addresses, and phone numbers of key recruiters and decision-makers.

Part 4: Apply with Me and Job Application Tracking System

With your refined pitching materials ready (resume, cover letters, and portfolio), we will begin applying for jobs at your ideal employers. We’ll track each application and ensure that you reach out to at least one company insider or decision-maker for each application. I’ll also introduce you to tools that help you monitor whether your emails are being read and how many times.

Part 5: Mock Interview for Your Dream Job

Having interviewed hundreds of candidates, I understand what recruiters and hiring managers look for. Once you land your first interview, we will conduct a mock interview for the actual role you’re applying for. This will be followed by a detailed feedback session to help you come across as a credible, dependable, and unique candidate.
